  • 2 cups Broccoli florets
  • 2 medium Bell peppers, sliced
  • 0.25 cup Soy sauce (or Tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger, minced
  • 3 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or Brown Sugar (for Sweet Sauce option)(optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha or Chili Flakes (for Spicy Sauce option)(optional)
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
  • 0.25 cup Green onions, sliced

Instructions

    In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, minced ginger, garlic, sesame oil, cornstarch, and your choice of sweet or spicy additions to create your flexible sauce.

    Slice your chosen protein into bite-sized pieces and pat dry with a paper towel.

    Heat one tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat until shimmering.

    Add the protein to the pan in a single layer and sear until cooked through and browned, then remove from the pan and set aside.

    Add the remaining tablespoon of oil to the same pan and stir-fry the broccoli and bell peppers for 3-4 minutes until tender-crisp.
