Ingredients

  • 2 cups Chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce (low-sodium if desired)
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch(optional)
  • 1 tbsp Water (for cornstarch slurry)(optional)
  • 2 tbsp Green onions, sliced(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

Prep (5 minutes): Mince the garlic. Beat the eggs in a bowl until smooth. If using cornstarch, stir it with the water to make a slurry.

Cook (10 minutes): In a small pot, bring the broth to a gentle simmer. Stir in the garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. 3

Season: Add soy sauce and sesame oil to the simmering broth. If using cornstarch, stir in the slurry and simmer 1 minute to lightly thicken.

  5. 5
