Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Chicken breast, cubed
  • 0.5 cup Plain Greek yogurt
  • 0.25 cup Lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp Olive oil
  • 6 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 0.25 tsp Ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper

Instructions

    In a large bowl, whisk together the yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, tomato paste, and minced garlic.

    Stir in the paprika, cinnamon, oregano, salt, and pepper until the marinade is well combined.

    Add the chicken cubes to the bowl and toss thoroughly to ensure every piece is coated.

    Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, though overnight is preferred for maximum flavor.

    Thread the marinated chicken onto metal skewers or soaked wooden skewers.

    Preheat an outdoor grill or indoor griddle pan to medium-high heat.

    Grill the skewers for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is charred and cooked through.
