- 2 cups Mandioca flour (Cassava flour), toasted or raw
- 0.25 cup Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 medium Red onion, finely diced
- 3 cloves Garlic cloves, minced
- 0.25 cup Fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 stalks Fresh scallions, sliced
- 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
- 0.5 teaspoon Smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
- 0.33 cup Raw cashews, chopped(optional)

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or frying pan over medium heat.

Add the diced red onion and sauté for 4-5 minutes until translucent and slightly golden.

Stir in the minced garlic and chopped cashews, cooking for another 2 minutes until fragrant.

Lower the heat to medium-low and gradually add the cassava flour to the skillet.

Stir constantly for 5-8 minutes to toast the flour evenly; it should turn a light golden brown and smell nutty.

Season with salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and dried oregano while stirring.
