Ingredients

  • 200 g Paneer, cubed
  • 200 g Korean rice cakes (tteok)
  • 2 tbsp Gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)
  • 100 g Tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp Toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 stalk Green onion, sliced(optional)
  • 150 ml Water

Instructions

    In a large skillet, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

    Stir in the gochujang and tomato sauce, then pour in the water. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil, stirring to combine.

    Add the rice cakes and paneer cubes to the sauce. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 20‑25 minutes until the rice cakes are soft and the sauce thickens.

    Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Sprinkle toasted sesame seeds and optional sliced green onion over the dish before serving.
