Ingredients

  • 1 package Phyllo Dough
  • 1 lb Fresh Spinach
  • 4 oz Feta Cheese
  • 2 large Eggs(optional)
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter(optional)
  • 1 tsp Olive Oil(optional)
  • 0.5 tsp Nutmeg(optional)
  • 0.5 tsp Salt(optional)
  • 0.25 tsp Black Pepper(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. 2

Prepare the filling: Cook the spinach until wilted, then squeeze out all excess moisture. In a bowl, combine the wilted spinach, crumbled feta, nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.

  3. 3

Assemble the triangles: Lay out a sheet of phyllo dough. Brush lightly with melted butter. Layer 2-3 sheets, then place a portion of the filling in the center. Fold the dough into a triangle shape, sealing the edges.

  4. 4

Brush the assembled triangles with the remaining melted butter and egg wash. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
