Ingredients

  • 200 g firm tofu
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup carrots, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch(optional)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. 1

Press the tofu to remove excess moisture, then cut into 1‑inch cubes; toss with cornstarch if using.

  2. 2

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a large skillet over medium‑high heat; add tofu and fry until golden and crispy, about 3‑4 minutes; remove and set aside.

  3. 3

In the same pan, add remaining oil and quickly stir‑fry broccoli and carrots for 2‑3 minutes until just tender.

  4. 4

Add garlic and the soy‑maple glaze (soy sauce mixed with maple syrup); return tofu to the pan, toss to coat, and cook an additional 1‑2 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  5. 5

Serve hot, optionally garnished with sliced green onions or sesame seeds.
