Ingredients

  • 2 pieces Salmon fillets
  • 3 tablespoons Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 2 cups Broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • to taste Black pepper(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

In a small bowl whisk together soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, and minced garlic to create the glaze.

  2. 2

Pat the salmon fillets dry, season with black pepper, and heat olive oil in a skillet over medium‑high heat; sear salmon skin‑side down 3‑4 minutes until crisp, then flip and brush with half the glaze, cooking another 2‑3 minutes.

  3. 3

While the salmon cooks, steam or blanch the broccoli florets until bright green and just tender, about 3 minutes.

  4. 4

In a separate pan, heat sesame oil over medium heat, add the cooked broccoli and toss with the remaining glaze; sprinkle sesame seeds and stir‑fry for 1‑2 minutes.

  5. 5

Serve each salmon fillet topped with any remaining glaze alongside the sesame‑ginger broccoli.
