Ingredients

  • 1 lb Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 0.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups Marinara sauce
  • 1.5 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.25 cup Vegetable oil for frying
  • 1 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

Set up a dredging station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mix of breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.

  3. 3

Dredge each shrimp in flour, dip in egg, and coat thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture.

  4. 4

In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Fry shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

  5. 5

Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce in a baking dish. Arrange the fried shrimp in a single layer.

  6. 6

Top the shrimp with the remaining marinara sauce and sprinkle evenly with mozzarella cheese.

  7. 7

Bake for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  8. 8

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately over pasta or with crusty bread.
