- 24 ounces Marinara sauce
- 15 ounces Ricotta cheese
- 2 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large Egg
- 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 pinch Salt and black pepper

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Boil the ziti in salted water until al dente, about 2 minutes less than the package directions, then drain.

In a medium bowl, stir together the ricotta cheese, egg, half of the Parmesan, parsley, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

In the large pot used for the pasta, toss the cooked ziti with the marinara sauce until evenly coated.

Spread half of the sauced ziti into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

Dollop the ricotta mixture over the pasta and spread gently, then top with 1 cup of mozzarella.
