Ingredients

  • 200 g Noodles (lo mein, ramen, or spaghetti)
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds(optional)
  • 1 clove Garlic (minced)(optional)
  • 0.25 tsp Red pepper flakes(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook the noodles according to package directions until just tender, about 8–10 minutes. Reserve 1/4 cup of the cooking water, then drain.

  2. 2

While the noodles cook, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, honey, and (if using) garlic and red pepper flakes in a bowl.

  3. 3

Toss hot noodles with the sauce. Add a splash of reserved cooking water as needed to loosen and coat the noodles, then cook together for 1–2 minutes over low heat.

  4. 4

Serve immediately, topped with sesame seeds (if using).
