Ingredients

  • 4 cups Green cabbage, shredded
  • 3 cups Chicken or vegetable broth
  • 3 tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp White pepper
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp Water (for cornstarch slurry)
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil(optional)
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

Prep (10 minutes): Shred the cabbage, mince the garlic (if using), and whisk the cornstarch with 2 tbsp water until smooth.

  2. 2

Cook (15 minutes): In a pot, bring broth to a simmer. Stir in soy sauce, rice vinegar, white pepper, and garlic (if using). Add shredded cabbage and simmer until tender, about 10 minutes.
