- 1/2 cup Yellow onion, diced
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 3 cups Beef broth
- 15 oz Crushed tomatoes
- 1 tbsp Tomato paste
- 1 tsp Dried oregano
- 8 oz Short pasta (like Rotini or Penne)
- 1 to taste Salt and black pepper
- 1/2 cup Shredded cheddar or parmesan cheese(optional)
- 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped(optional)

In a large skillet or Dutch oven, brown the ground beef over medium-high heat until no longer pink.

Stir in the minced garlic and tomato paste, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.

Pour in the beef broth, crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, salt, and pepper, stirring to combine.

Add the dry pasta to the skillet, ensuring it is mostly submerged in the liquid.
