Ingredients

  • 300 g pork tenderloin
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks (canned, drained)
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

Slice the pork into thin strips and toss with the cornstarch; set aside.

  2. 2

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, ketchup, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and minced garlic to create the sweet‑and‑sour glaze.

  3. 3

Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium‑high heat (about 2 minutes). Add the pork and stir‑fry for 3‑4 minutes until browned and just cooked through.

  4. 4

Add the bell pepper strips and pineapple chunks; stir‑fry for another 2 minutes until the vegetables are crisp‑tender.

  5. 5

Pour the glaze over the pork and vegetables, stirring to coat evenly; cook for 1‑2 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  6. 6

Season with black pepper if desired, then serve immediately over steamed rice.
