Ingredients

  • 200 g firm tofu
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 30 g cucumber
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. 1

Press the tofu between paper towels for 5 minutes, then cut into 1‑inch cubes.

  2. 2

In a shallow bowl, combine sesame seeds, oregano, garlic powder, and salt; toss the tofu cubes in the mixture to coat evenly.

  3. 3

Heat olive oil in a non‑stick skillet over medium‑high heat; add the coated tofu and pan‑fry 3‑4 minutes per side until golden and crisp.

  4. 4

While tofu cooks, make the dip: grate cucumber, squeeze out excess water, and mix with Greek yogurt, soy sauce, and lemon juice; season with a pinch of salt.

  5. 5

Serve the sesame‑crusted tofu bites hot with the tangy tzatziki‑soy dip on the side.
