Ingredients

  • 12 oz Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cups Broccoli florets
  • 1 tbsp Ginger, fresh
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 3 tbsp Low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp Sesame oil
  • 1 tsp Honey (or monk fruit sweetener, to taste)(optional)
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 1 tbsp Neutral oil (e.g., avocado or canola)
  • 0.25 tsp Red pepper flakes(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

Prep (10 minutes): Pat shrimp dry. Mince ginger and garlic. Cut broccoli into bite-size florets if needed.

  2. 2

Cook (15 minutes): In a small bowl, whisk soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey (if using), cornstarch, and water until smooth.

  3. 3

Heat a large skillet or wok over high heat with neutral oil. Add broccoli and stir-fry 3–4 minutes until bright green and crisp-tender; add 1–2 tbsp water if the pan looks dry.

  4. 4

Add shrimp to the pan and stir-fry 2–3 minutes until pink and just cooked through. Add ginger and garlic and stir-fry 30–60 seconds until fragrant.

  5. 5

Pour in the ginger-soy glaze and toss 30–60 seconds until glossy and lightly thickened. Taste and adjust seasoning (add a pinch more vinegar for tang or soy for salt). Serve immediately.
