- 1 pound Ziti pasta
- 32 ounces Marinara sauce
- 15 ounces Ricotta cheese
- 3 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
- 0.5 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large Egg
- 2 tablespoons Fresh parsley, chopped(optional)
- 1 teaspoon Dried oregano
- 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 pinch Salt and black pepper

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Boil the ziti in salted water until slightly underdone (al dente), about 2 minutes less than the package directions.

In a medium bowl, whisk the egg and then stir in the ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella, half the Parmesan, oregano, garlic powder, and parsley.

Drain the pasta and return it to the pot; toss with 2 cups of the marinara sauce to coat evenly.

Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the prepared baking dish.

Layer half of the pasta, followed by dollops of the ricotta mixture, then the remaining pasta and the rest of the sauce.
