Ingredients

  • 500 g Beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 2 Tbsp Chili oil
  • 2 Tbsp Low‑sodium soy sauce
  • 1 large Red bell pepper, sliced into strips
  • 3 stalks Scallions, cut into 2‑inch pieces
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Fresh ginger, grated
  • ½ tsp Red pepper flakes (optional for extra heat)(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

In a bowl, combine the beef slices with chili oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, and optional red pepper flakes; stir to coat and let marinate for 10 minutes while you prepare the vegetables.

  2. 2

Heat a wok or large skillet over high heat; add a splash of oil if needed and quickly stir‑fry the bell pepper strips for 2‑3 minutes until crisp‑tender, then remove and set aside.

  3. 3

Add the marinated beef to the hot wok in a single layer; stir‑fry for 3‑4 minutes, breaking up any clumps, until the beef is browned but still juicy.

  4. 4

Return the bell peppers to the wok, add the scallion pieces, and toss everything together for another minute; taste and adjust seasoning with a pinch more soy sauce if desired.

  5. 5

Serve immediately, optionally garnished with extra scallion slices.
