- 1 cup Whole milk
- 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
- 2.25 teaspoons Powdered gelatin
- 3 tablespoons Cold water
- 1 whole Vanilla bean
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- 1 pinch Salt
- 0.5 cup Fresh berries(optional)
- 1 teaspoon Vegetable oil(optional)

Pour the cold water into a small bowl and sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the surface; let it bloom for 5-10 minutes.

In a medium saucepan, combine the heavy cream, milk, and sugar over medium heat.

Split the vanilla bean lengthwise, scrape the seeds into the pot, and add the pod as well.

Heat the mixture until it just begins to simmer, stirring constantly to ensure the sugar is fully dissolved.

Remove from heat, discard the vanilla bean pod, and whisk in the bloomed gelatin until completely smooth.

Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, then let the mixture cool slightly for 5 minutes.
