- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Water
- 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
- 0.5 teaspoon Salt
- 0.5 cup Granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon Ground cinnamon
- 2 cups Vegetable oil for frying
- 4 ounces Dark chocolate (70% cocoa)
- 0.5 cup Heavy cream
- 0.5 teaspoon Vanilla extract(optional)

In a small bowl, mix the 0.5 cup sugar and cinnamon together and set aside on a shallow plate.

In a medium saucepan, combine water, butter, and salt; bring to a boil over medium-high heat.

Remove from heat and stir in the flour all at once with a wooden spoon until a smooth ball of dough forms.

Transfer the dough to a piping bag fitted with a large star tip and let it cool for 5 minutes.

Heat oil in a deep skillet to 375°F (190°C). Pipe 4-inch strips of dough into the oil, cutting with scissors.
