Ingredients

Servings:4
  • 1 lb Pizza dough ball
  • 1/2 cup Pizza sauce
  • 2 cups Low-moisture shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 oz Sliced pepperoni
  • 2 tablespoons Grated Parmesan cheese(optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dried oregano
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Cornmeal
  • 1/4 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 pinch Red pepper flakes(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 500°F (260°C) with a pizza stone or baking sheet inside for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

On a lightly floured surface, stretch the pizza dough into a 12-inch circle, keeping the edges slightly thicker for the crust.

  3. 3

Dust a pizza peel or a second inverted baking sheet with cornmeal and transfer the stretched dough onto it.

  4. 4

Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

  5. 5

Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then layer the pepperoni slices on top.

  6. 6

Brush the outer crust with olive oil and sprinkle the oregano and garlic powder over the entire pizza.

  7. 7

Slide the pizza onto the preheated stone and bake for 10-12 minutes until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbly.

  8. 8

Remove from the oven, let cool for 5 minutes, sprinkle with Parmesan and red pepper flakes, then slice and serve.
