- 0.5 cup Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Ginger, minced
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1 tsp Sesame seeds(optional)
Instructions
- 1
Thinly slice the flank steak against the grain into bite-sized strips.
- 2
In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and cornstarch to create the sauce.

Pour the sauce mixture over the beef and stir constantly until the sauce thickens and coats the meat.
- 6
Return the broccoli to the pan, toss to combine and heat through.
- 7
Serve immediately over steamed rice, garnished with sesame seeds if desired.
