  • 2 pcs Large eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups Marinara sauce
  • 1.5 cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tsp Dried oregano
  • 0.25 cup Fresh basil leaves(optional)

Instructions

    Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a large baking sheet or dish.

    Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise to create thin cutlets and pound to even thickness.

    Set up three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mix of Panko, Parmesan, and oregano.

    Dredge each chicken piece in flour, dip in egg, and then coat thoroughly with the breadcrumb mixture.

    Place chicken on the baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil; bake for 15 minutes until golden.

    Remove from oven and top each piece with a generous spoonful of marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
