Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb Chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 cups Broccoli florets
  • 6 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp Low-sodium tamari
  • 2 tbsp Avocado oil
  • 1 tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp Toasted sesame oil(optional)
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes(optional)
  • 2 Green onions, sliced(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

Pat chicken dry and toss with 1/2 tsp cornstarch; let sit while you prep the vegetables (5 minutes).

  2. 2

Whisk together low-sodium tamari, rice vinegar, remaining cornstarch, and 1/4 cup water to make the sauce.

  3. 3

Heat 1 tbsp avocado oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat. Stir-fry chicken until golden and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes. Remove and set aside.

  4. 4

Add remaining oil, then stir-fry garlic and red pepper flakes for 30 seconds until fragrant. Add broccoli with 2 tbsp water, cover, and steam-fry until crisp-tender, about 3-4 minutes.

  5. 5

Return chicken to the wok, pour in the sauce, and toss until glossy and thickened, about 2 minutes. Finish with sesame oil and green onions; serve immediately.
