Ingredients
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 24 ounces marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 0.5 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 0.75 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper

Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker with non-stick spray or a little olive oil.

Place the chicken breasts in a single layer at the bottom of the slow cooker and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Pour the marinara sauce evenly over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well covered.

Cover and cook on Low for 4 to 5 hours or on High for 2 to 3 hours until chicken is tender.

In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and the dried oregano.

Sprinkle the mozzarella and parmesan cheese over the cooked chicken in the slow cooker.

Top the cheese with the breadcrumb mixture and cover for another 15-20 minutes until the cheese is melted.
