Ingredients

  • 1 kg Potatoes
  • 500 g Ground Beef
  • 1 large Onion
  • 2 units Hard-boiled Eggs
  • 50 g Black Olives(optional)
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 30 g Butter
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 0.5 tsp Cumin
  • to taste Salt and Pepper
  • 50 g Parmesan Cheese(optional)

Instructions

    Peel and boil the potatoes in salted water until tender. Drain and mash with milk and butter until smooth.

    Sauté the finely chopped onion in a pan until translucent. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.

    Season the beef with paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Stir in chopped hard-boiled eggs and olives.

    Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

    In a baking dish, spread the meat mixture evenly across the bottom.

    Layer the mashed potatoes over the meat, smoothing the top with a fork to create ridges.

    Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired and bake for 20-25 minutes until the top is golden brown.
