Ingredients
- 2 cans (15oz) Chickpeas
- 1 large Onion
- 2 medium Tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon Ginger-Garlic Paste
- 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
- 1 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- 0.5 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
- 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
- 1 teaspoon Coriander Powder
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
- 0.25 cup Fresh Cilantro(optional)
Instructions

Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat and add cumin seeds until they sizzle.

Add finely chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric, chili powder, and coriander powder. Cook until tomatoes soften and oil starts to separate.

Add drained chickpeas and 1 cup of water. Stir well.

Cover and simmer for 15 minutes, lightly mashing a few chickpeas to thicken the gravy.

Stir in garam masala and garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
