
South Carolina Mustard BBQ Wings

Ingredients
- 3 pounds Chicken wings (split into flats and drums)
- 1 cup Yellow mustard
- 0.5 cup Apple cider vinegar
- 0.25 cup Honey
- 2 tablespoons Light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Onion powder
- 0.5 teaspoon Smoked paprika
- 0.25 teaspoon Cayenne pepper

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a wire rack.

Pat the chicken wings completely dry with paper towels and season them generously with salt and black pepper.

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the mustard, apple cider vinegar, honey, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and spices.

Simmer the sauce for 5 to 10 minutes until it thickens slightly, then remove from heat and set aside half of the sauce for dipping.

Place the wings on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Remove the wings from the oven and brush them liberally with the remaining half of the mustard BBQ sauce.

Return the wings to the oven for another 10-15 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Let the wings rest for 5 minutes before serving with the reserved dipping sauce.
