Ingredients

  • 200 g Imitation crab meat
  • 2 tablespoons Fermented black bean paste
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh ginger, minced
  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Sichuan peppercorns, toasted and ground
  • 1 tablespoon Soy sauce (low sodium)
  • 1 tablespoon Olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon Red chili flakes
  • 1 stalk Green onion, sliced for garnish(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat (2 minutes). Add the minced garlic and ginger, sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.

  2. 2

Stir in the fermented black bean paste, soy sauce, Sichuan peppercorn powder, and red chili flakes; cook for another 2 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

  3. 3

Add the imitation crab meat, breaking it into bite‑size pieces, and toss to coat evenly. Cook for 5‑7 minutes until the mixture is heated through and slightly caramelized.

  4. 4

Transfer the dip to a serving bowl, garnish with sliced green onion if desired, and serve warm or at room temperature.
