Ingredients

  • 12 oz Shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tbsp Unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 pc Lime
  • 6 small Tortillas (corn or flour)
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro, chopped(optional)
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Optional: chili powder(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

Prep (10 minutes): Pat shrimp dry, mince garlic, chop cilantro, and cut the lime into wedges.

  2. 2

Cook (15 minutes): Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp in a single layer, season with salt and black pepper, and cook 1–2 minutes per side until pink and just cooked through; transfer to a plate.

  3. 3

In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic and cook 30–60 seconds until fragrant (do not brown the garlic).

  4. 4

Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the garlic butter for 1–2 minutes.

  5. 5

Warm tortillas, then fill with shrimp. Squeeze lime over top and finish with chopped cilantro (if using).
