Ingredients
- 2 lbs Ground beef (80/20)
- 1 package Hawaiian sweet rolls (12-pack)
- 8 slices Cheddar cheese slices
- 1/2 cup Yellow onion, finely diced
- 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 3 tablespoons Unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon Sesame seeds(optional)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon Salt and black pepper
- 12 slices Dill pickle chips(optional)
Instructions
- 1
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a large sheet pan.
- 2
Press the raw ground beef into a flat, even rectangle on the sheet pan, slightly larger than the size of the bun block to account for shrinkage.
- 3
Season the beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce, then bake for 15 minutes.
- 4
Carefully drain the excess grease from the pan and pat the cooked beef patty dry with paper towels.
- 5
Slice the entire block of rolls in half horizontally and place the bottom half on a clean baking sheet.
- 6
Place the cooked beef patty onto the bottom buns, layer with cheese slices, pickles, and diced onions.
- 7
Place the top buns on, brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- 8
Bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is melted and the bun tops are golden brown.
