Sea Salt Dark Chocolate Bark

A simple yet elegant treat made of melted dark chocolate topped with roasted almonds and flaky sea salt.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz Dark chocolate chips (70% cocoa or higher)
  • 1 tsp Coconut oil(optional)
  • 0.5 cup Roasted almonds or pistachios, chopped
  • 1 tsp Flaky sea salt
  • 0.25 cup Dried cranberries or cherries(optional)

    Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until completely smooth.

    Pour the melted chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it into an even layer about 1/4 inch thick using a spatula.

    Immediately sprinkle the chopped nuts and dried fruit (if using) evenly over the melted chocolate.

    Finish by sprinkling the flaky sea salt over the entire surface.

    Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, or until the chocolate is completely firm.

    Once set, break the bark into irregular bite-sized pieces by hand or with a knife.

    Store in an airtight container in a cool place or refrigerator.
