Ingredients

  • 12 oz Ground beef (80/20)
  • 1/2 medium Yellow onion
  • 2 tbsp Taco seasoning
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp Water
  • 4 small Flour tortillas
  • 1/2 cup Shredded lettuce(optional)
  • 1/2 cup Diced tomatoes(optional)
  • 2 tbsp Sour cream(optional)
  • 1/4 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

Prep (10 minutes): Dice the onion. Set out toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and cheese).

  2. 2

Cook (20 minutes): Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up, until browned, about 8–10 minutes.

  3. 3

Add onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3–4 minutes. Stir in taco seasoning and water; cook 2–3 minutes until the mixture is evenly coated and slightly thickened.

  4. 4

Warm tortillas in the microwave or in the skillet for 20–30 seconds per side. Serve the beef mixture over tortillas and top with lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and cheese.
