No-Bake Peanut Butter Bars

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 2 cups Graham Cracker Crumbs
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 1.5 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract(optional)

Instructions

    Line a 9x9 inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter, graham cracker crumbs, and powdered sugar. Stir until well combined.

    Stir in 1 cup of the peanut butter and the vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and thick.

    Press the peanut butter mixture firmly and evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.

    In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and the remaining 1/2 cup of peanut butter.

    Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is completely melted and smooth.

    Spread the chocolate mixture evenly over the peanut butter layer.

    Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm, before lifting out of the pan and cutting into squares.
