Ingredients

  • 200 g tagliatelle pasta
  • 200 g skinless chicken breast
  • 1 cup green mole sauce (store‑bought or homemade)
  • 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste salt
  • to taste black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil, add the tagliatelle and cook al dente according to package directions (about 10‑11 minutes); drain, reserving 1/4 cup pasta water.

  2. 2

While the pasta cooks, cut the chicken breast into thin strips. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium‑high heat, add the chicken strips and sauté until browned and cooked through, about 6‑7 minutes; remove and set aside.

  3. 3

In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, then stir in the green mole sauce and the reserved pasta water; simmer for 3‑4 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

  4. 4

Add the cooked tagliatelle and chicken strips to the sauce, toss to coat evenly, and season with salt and black pepper to taste.

  5. 5

Divide the pasta between two plates, sprinkle each serving with toasted sesame seeds, and serve immediately.
