Ingredients

  • 8 pieces large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tbsp taco seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 pieces corn tortillas
  • 1 cup cabbage, finely shredded
  • 2 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise(optional)
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1

In a bowl, toss the shrimp with taco seasoning, olive oil, salt, and pepper; let sit while you prepare the slaw.

  2. 2

Combine shredded cabbage, cilantro, lime juice, and mayonnaise (if using) in a separate bowl; season lightly with salt and pepper and set aside.

  3. 3

Heat a non‑stick skillet over medium‑high heat and grill the seasoned shrimp for about 2 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.

  4. 4

Warm the corn tortillas in the same skillet for 15‑20 seconds per side.

  5. 5

Assemble each taco by placing 2 shrimp on a tortilla and topping with a generous spoonful of lime‑cilantro slaw. Serve immediately.
