Ingredients

  • 2 fillets salmon fillets
  • 1 bunch asparagus
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder(optional)
  • 1/4 tsp salt(optional)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment or lightly oil it.

  2. 2

Pat the salmon dry. Rub salmon with olive oil, then season evenly with lemon pepper seasoning (and garlic powder if using), plus a pinch of salt and black pepper if desired.

  3. 3

Trim the asparagus and place it on the baking sheet. Drizzle with a little olive oil and season lightly with lemon pepper (and salt/pepper if desired). Zest the lemon over the salmon and asparagus.

  4. 4

Bake for 15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily and the asparagus is tender-crisp. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the salmon and asparagus before serving.
