  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Sesame oil
  • 2 Burger buns
  • 1 cup Cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Mayonnaise(optional)
  • 1 tsp Sesame seeds(optional)
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. 1

In a bowl, toss cucumber slices with rice vinegar, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Set aside to quick-pickle while you cook (about 15 minutes).

  2. 2

Mix ground beef gently with soy sauce, minced garlic, and sesame oil. Divide into 4 loose balls without overworking.

  4. 4

Toast buns in the beef drippings for about 1 minute until golden.

  5. 5

Stack two patties per bun, top with mayonnaise (if using), drained cucumber slaw, and a sprinkle of sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
