Ingredients

  • 1.5 lb Pork spareribs
  • 1/4 cup Low‑sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tsp Fresh rosemary leaves
  • 2 tsp Fresh thyme leaves
  • 3 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp Fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1/4 tsp Red pepper flakes(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C). Pat the spareribs dry and season lightly with black pepper.

  2. 2

In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, olive oil, rosemary, thyme, garlic, ginger, and optional red pepper flakes. Bring to a gentle simmer, then reduce heat and let the herbs infuse for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. 3

Place the ribs on a roasting rack in a large baking dish. Brush the herb‑infused soy reduction over the ribs, reserving half for later basting.

  4. 4

Cover the dish tightly with foil and roast for 2 hours (120 minutes). After 1 hour, remove the foil, baste the ribs with the remaining reduction, and continue roasting uncovered for an additional 30 minutes until the meat is tender and the glaze is caramelized.

  5. 5

Remove the ribs from the oven, let rest 5 minutes, then slice between the bones and serve.
