Ingredients

  • 2 fillets (6 oz each) Salmon fillets
  • 3 tbsp Honey
  • 3 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 4 cloves, minced Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Butter(optional)
  • 1/2 Lemon(optional)
  • 2 sliced Green onions(optional)
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  1. 1

Pat salmon fillets dry and season lightly with black pepper (about 5 minutes prep).

  2. 2

Whisk honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic in a small bowl to make the glaze.

  3. 3

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon skin-side up for 4 minutes until golden.

  4. 4

Flip fillets and cook 3 more minutes, then add butter and pour in the glaze.

  5. 5

Simmer 3-4 minutes, spooning the sauce over the salmon until sticky and glazed, and salmon flakes easily (total cook time about 12 minutes).

  6. 6

Squeeze lemon over top, sprinkle with green onions, and serve with remaining pan sauce.
