  • 4 fillets White fish fillets (Cod, Tilapia, or Halibut)
  • 0.5 cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 large Eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 0.25 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1.5 cups Marinara sauce
  • 1 cup Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley, chopped(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

Set up a dredging station with three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of panko and grated parmesan.

  3. 3

Pat fish fillets dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. 4

Dredge each fillet in flour, dip into the egg, and then coat thoroughly with the panko-parmesan mixture.

  5. 5

Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the fish for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.

  6. 6

Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce over each fillet, then top generously with shredded mozzarella.

  7. 7

Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.

  8. 8

Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
