Ingredients

  • 4 pieces (about 1 lb) boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves, minced garlic
  • 1/2 lemon
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp, chopped fresh parsley(optional)

Instructions

  1. 1

Pat the chicken thighs dry and season both sides with salt and pepper (about 5 minutes).

  2. 2

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken thighs 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through to 165°F (about 12 minutes). Transfer to a plate.

  3. 3

Reduce heat to medium-low and add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add minced garlic and cook 1 minute until fragrant.

  4. 4

Return chicken to the skillet, spoon the garlic butter over it, and squeeze fresh lemon juice on top (about 2 minutes).

  5. 5

Garnish with parsley and serve immediately.
