Ingredients

  • 8 oz Ground beef (80/20)
  • 1 tbsp Taco seasoning
  • 6 shells Hard taco shells
  • 1/2 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/4 cup Salsa
  • 2 tbsp Sour cream(optional)
  • 1/4 cup Water

Instructions

  1. 1

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and brown the ground beef, breaking it up with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess grease.

  2. 2

Stir in taco seasoning and water; simmer 3-5 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef.

  3. 3

While the beef simmers, warm the taco shells in a 350°F oven or per package directions, about 3-5 minutes.

  4. 4

Spoon the seasoned beef into the warm shells and top with lettuce, cheddar, salsa, and sour cream. Serve immediately.
