- 4 6oz portions Salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons White miso paste
- 1 teaspoon Chinese five-spice powder
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- 1 tablespoon Rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon Toasted sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon Grated fresh ginger
- 2 pieces Garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 2 stalks Green onions, sliced(optional)
Instructions

Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels to ensure a crisp sear.

In a small bowl, whisk together the miso paste, five-spice powder, honey, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, and garlic.

Spread the miso mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.

Let the salmon marinate at room temperature for 10 minutes while preheating the pan.

Heat olive oil in a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.

Place salmon skin-side down first and cook for 4-5 minutes until skin is crispy.

Carefully flip the fillets and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the glaze is caramelized and fish is opaque.
