Ingredients
- 300 g Beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce (gluten‑free if needed)
- 1 tbsp Fish sauce
- 1 tbsp Lime juice
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Fresh ginger, grated
- 1 small Thai red chili, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 9 large Romaine lettuce leaves
- 100 g Cucumber, julienned
- 2 tbsp Fresh cilantro, chopped
- ½ tsp Salt
- ¼ tsp Black pepper
Instructions
- 1
In a bowl, combine soy sauce, fish sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped chili, olive oil, salt, and black pepper; whisk to form a marinade.
- 2
Add the beef strips to the marinade, toss to coat, and let sit for 10 minutes while you prepare the lettuce cups.
- 3
Heat a grill pan or outdoor grill over high heat; lightly oil the surface and grill the beef strips for 2‑3 minutes per side until nicely charred but still pink inside.
- 4
While the beef rests, arrange lettuce leaves on a platter, top each leaf with a handful of julienned cucumber and a sprinkle of cilantro.
- 5
Slice the grilled beef into bite‑size strips and place them into the lettuce cups, drizzle any remaining pan juices over the wraps, and serve immediately.
