Ingredients
- 12 sheets Wonton wrappers
- 150 g Ground pork
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1.5 tbsp Chili oil
- 200 g Noodles (wonton noodles, ramen, or wheat noodles)
- 2 stalks Scallions
- 1 clove Garlic(optional)
- 1 tsp Ginger(optional)
- 1 tbsp Neutral oil
- 2 tbsp Water(optional)
Instructions
- 1
Prep (10 minutes): Finely chop scallions. If using, mince garlic and ginger. Mix ground pork with 1 tbsp soy sauce; set aside.
- 2
Cook wontons (about 5 minutes): Place a small spoonful of pork filling in the center of each wonton wrapper, fold into triangles or simple folds, and seal with a dab of water. Heat 1 tbsp neutral oil in a pan over medium-high heat and pan-sear wontons until lightly crisp on one side, about 2 minutes, then add 2 tbsp water, cover, and steam until cooked through, about 3 minutes.
- 3
Cook noodles (about 8 minutes): Boil noodles according to package directions until just tender. Drain, then divide into two bowls.
- 4
Finish (about 2 minutes): Top noodles with the cooked wontons. Drizzle chili oil and the remaining 1 tbsp soy sauce over the top, then scatter scallions. Serve immediately.
