Creamy Avocado Toast with Poached Egg

Ingredients

  • 1 slice Sourdough bread
  • 0.5 whole Ripe avocado
  • 1 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 0.25 teaspoon Red pepper flakes(optional)
  • 1 pinch Salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon White vinegar

Instructions

    Bring a small pot of water to a gentle simmer and add the white vinegar.

    Crack the egg into a small ramekin or bowl.

    Create a gentle whirlpool in the simmering water with a spoon and carefully drop the egg into the center. Cook for 3 minutes for a runny yolk.

    While the egg cooks, toast the sourdough slice until golden brown.

    In a small bowl, mash the avocado with lemon juice, salt, and pepper until creamy but slightly chunky.

    Spread the avocado mixture evenly over the toast.
