Ingredients
- 0.5 cup Old-fashioned rolled oats
- 0.75 cup Unsweetened almond milk
- 0.25 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon Chia seeds
- 1 teaspoon Pure vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon Maple syrup
- 0.25 teaspoon Ground cinnamon(optional)
- 1 pinch Salt
- 0.25 cup Fresh berries(optional)
- 1 tablespoon Sliced almonds(optional)
Instructions
- 1
Find a wide-mouth glass jar or a small airtight container for mixing.
- 2
Add the rolled oats, chia seeds, cinnamon, and salt into the jar and stir to combine.
- 3
Pour in the almond milk, Greek yogurt, vanilla extract, and maple syrup.
- 4
Stir vigorously with a spoon until all the yogurt clumps are dissolved and ingredients are fully incorporated.
- 5
Seal the jar tightly with a lid and shake for 10 seconds to ensure the seeds aren't settled at the bottom.
- 6
Place the jar in the refrigerator for a minimum of 6 hours, or ideally overnight.
- 7
In the morning, remove the lid and stir the oats; if they are too thick, add a splash of milk to reach your desired consistency.
- 8
Top with fresh berries and sliced almonds just before serving for added texture.
