Ingredients
- 1 can (5oz) Canned tuna in water
- 3 tablespoons Mayonnaise
- 1 stalk, finely diced Celery
- 1 tablespoon, minced Red onion(optional)
- 1 teaspoon Lemon juice(optional)
- 4 slices Sourdough or whole wheat bread
- 4 slices Sharp cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- to taste Salt and black pepper
Instructions

Drain the tuna thoroughly and place it in a medium bowl.

Mix the tuna with mayonnaise, diced celery, minced onion, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until well combined.

Butter one side of each slice of bread.

Place two slices of bread, butter-side down, in a skillet over medium heat.

Top each slice with a piece of cheese, a generous portion of the tuna mixture, and another piece of cheese.

Place the remaining bread slices on top, butter-side up.

Cook for 3-4 minutes per side until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is thoroughly melted.
