- 12 oz ground chicken
- 1 cup Thai basil (or sweet basil)
- 3 cloves garlic
- 2 Thai chili (or serrano), finely chopped
- 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce(optional)
- 1 tbsp neutral oil
- 1 tbsp lime juice(optional)

Prep (10 minutes): Finely chop the garlic and Thai chilies. Roughly tear the Thai basil leaves. Mix soy sauce, fish sauce, and brown sugar in a small bowl (and oyster sauce if using).

Cook (12 minutes): Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add the oil. Add garlic and chilies and stir-fry 30–60 seconds until fragrant.

Add the ground chicken and cook, breaking it up, until browned and cooked through, about 6–7 minutes.

Pour in the sauce mixture and stir-fry 2–3 minutes until glossy and thickened slightly.

Turn off the heat and stir in Thai basil until wilted, about 30–60 seconds. Finish with lime juice if using. Serve immediately.
